Her lips we cold and soft; a swiftly dying rose.
And as we kissed, she held my hand
so she could whisper her sweet melodies to me
as we sauntered sweetly passed
the grandest tree. the golden oak and shimmering leaves
rustled gently as her melody flowed on.
I felt her song.
And once I knew that I had fallen so in love the ghost was gone.

Yea she was gone.

I had a dream I kissed a ghost.
But why she loved me oh so much I'll never know.
But as we kissed, it filled my breath;
the scent of lavender and grass had covered up her gruesome death.
But I could tell she felt alive
by the way she moved her hips,
and the way she dragged her fingertips.
I tried to make her mine.
But I just couldn't love a ghost. We could never cross that line.

Who that ghost is haunting now, I wish I knew.
